เชื้อเพลิงชีวมวล ที่ผลิตขึ้นจากเศษวัสดุเหลือใช้จากธรรมชาติ และเศษไม้ที่เหลือจาการแปรรูปไม้ โดยมากมักจะมีคุณสมบัติแตกต่างกันตามแหล่งที่ผลิต ซึ่งมีพันธุ์ไม้ที่แตกต่างกัน โดยไม้ที่นิยมนำมาผลิตคือ ไม้ยาง มีมากในหลายอีสานและ ภาคใต้ ไม้สัก ไม่มะม่วง ไม้ลำไย ไม้พะยูง เป็นต้น

Biomass fuel made from natural waste materials and scrap wood these are byproduct from wood processing. Almost of wood pellets has different properties depend on the source, which have different species of plants. The most popular wood made for production is rubber wood, which is abundant in the northeastern and southern regions, teak wood, mango wood, longan wood, etc.

กากวัสดุจากโรงหีบน้ำมันปาล์ม ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติทางเคมี ที่ให้ค่าความร้อนสูง ความชื่นต่ำ ขนย้ายและจัดเก็บได้ง่าย ลุกไฟได้ดี มีปริมาณมากในภาคใต้ บางส่วนจากภาคอีสาน และนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศ อาทิเช่น อินโดฯ มาเลเซีย เป็นต้น

Residue from palm oil mill which has chemical properties which gives high heat value, low humidity, easy to transport and storage, good combustibility, is abundant in the southern region and some from the northeast and imported from other countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.
